- Rubio tied the match in the 77th minute. Alex Lara sent a long ball towards Rubio who took a dribble and blasted his first goal of the year.
- Andres Hermannson's attempt in the 86th minute went high for Omaha. A pair of Mavs' shots were deflected out for Omaha corner kicks which were successfully defended by CSUN. The Mavs earned a third corner kick with just under two to go and again the Matadors were able to turn away Omaha.
