2019 (R-SENIOR): Finished 10th in Division I in assists (9) and 18th in assists per game (0.47)…scored two goals for a total of 13 points, the third most on the team…started all 19 matches, playing 1,324 points, the fifth most on the team.
2018 (REDSHIRT): Played in the first three matches of the season, starting at San José State Aug. 26 before being forced to take a medical redshirt due to a leg injury…took one shot at San Francisco Aug. 24 in the season opener...was named to the USL's All-Western Conference Team for the Albuquerque Sol.
2017 (JUNIOR): Finished season third on the Matadors in goals (3), and points (8)…scored the game winning goal against Sacramento State in the first round of the Big West Tournament Nov. 1…his two assists were the sixth most on the squad…took 21 shots, 11 on goal…played 1,034 minutes in 21 appearances…started nine times.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Rubio competed in 34 matches and totaled six goals, four assists, 12 points and 25 shots in his two seasons at Seattle University from 2015-16…finished second on the team with four goals and tallied two assists as a sophomore…provided two helpers and collected 11 shots during his freshman season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Dos Pueblos High School…started three seasons in the midfield with the Chargers…led the team to the second round of the CIF Tournament as a senior…named first team All-League as a junior and second team as a freshman and sophomore…earned team Offensive Most Valuable Player award in 2014…CLUB EXPERIENCE: Competed with the Santa Barbara Soccer Club for four years and the Real So Cal Academy for one year…helped the Santa Barbara Soccer Club to the 2014 National Cup, 2014 Far West Regional and 2014 Youth Soccer National Championship…aso has competed with the Ventura County Fusion.
