ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH JASON FLOWERS
- "Hats off to Long Beach State, they did a good job of making some things difficult. The success we have enjoyed lately has been a result of toughness. I didn't think we exhibited that until the last five minutes of the game. We are a team that has been built on toughness and making plays and doing things right when adversity hits. I didn't think we did that this afternoon. We cut from 21 to 8 and started to do some things we wanted to do in the entire game. We will go back and take a look at the film and get back to work on Monday and get better."
