"We're proud of Kiran's play today. She closed with two birdies which shows poise and determination. We aren't satisfied with the overall result and we have work to do. But looking forward to getting back at it in a couple weeks at William & Mary, playing the iconic Kingsmill Resort."
The Matadors next travel to the William & Mary Invitational (Mar. 30-31) in Williamsburg, Va.

- Sangha was CSUN's low player or tied for the teams' low round in all three rounds. The sophomore was six-over after 16 holes before making birdie on her final two holes of the day to get back to four-over for the day and 11-over 227 for the tournament. Her three-round total matches her low for 54 holes this season and her sixth-place finish is the best for a Matador player in five tournaments this year.

- Ashley Phelps had her best round of the tournament Tuesday, finishing with a five-over 77 to move up into 29th-place at (+23) 239.
- Julia Johansson finished in a tie for 54th at (+31) 247 following rounds of 78-85-84 and Grace Bettis was forced to withdraw in the final round due to injury.
