ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH CHARLOTTE MORGAN
"We had our opportunities throughout game one. But what better way for our lone graduating senior in Journey, to get the walk-off hit. KJ threw well in the circle and gave us a chance to win. UCSB did a great job of taking advantage of the mistakes we made, especially scoring two runs on that error. We can't wait until late in the game to catch up. Overall, we did some good things, but we have to work on our mistakes and end conference play on a good note."
