COACH JIM BRACKEN SAID
"The team is happy to be leading the tournament but the guys felt like we left a lot of shots on the golf course. 13-under is a good team score but the guys expect more out of themselves which is nice to hear as a head coach. As our home course, we're comfortable playing here and we'll just have to play our game tomorrow and shoot under par to win."
The Matadors will be paired UC Irvine, Hawai'i and California Baptist for the final round of the 26th annual Bill Cullum Invitational which gets underway with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at The Oaks Club at Valencia.
