NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—CSUN head women's basketball coach Carlene Mitchell has announced the signing of Amiyah Ferguson to a National Letter of Intent to continue her playing career with the Matadors.
"Our number one recruiting priority was to sign a high school combo guard with a scorer's mentality," Mitchell said. "My staff did an outstanding job of selling our vision, program, and culture to a young lady that had multiple high-level options. Timing is everything, Amiyah had a unique recruiting experience that allowed us the opportunity to have a chance to recruit a player of her caliber. Amiyah is a student of the game; she is always looking for ways to improve, with aspirations to play at the next level. Our CSUN campus community will love the total student-athlete package that Amiyah will bring to our program."
