NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The CSUN Men's and Women's Track and Field teams conclude the regular season this week by entering the two-day Adidas/Steve Scott Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
Friday's field events begin at 11 a.m., with Friday track events getting underway at 7 p.m. Saturday's track events start at noon, with Saturday's field events beginning at 12:15 p.m. Scheduled to compete are Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Fullerton, CSUN, Cal State San Marcos, Long Beach State, Pepperdine, San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside, and UC San Diego.

- The CSUN Men's and Women's Track and Field teams competed at the Chris Rinne Twilight on Apr. 22 at UC Riverside.
- Quinn Garity turned in the highest men's performance as he finished second in the 1500m in a time of 3:56.37.
- Sonia Avila recorded the top women's finish as she placed fourth in the 5000m in a season-best time of 19:04.09.
- The Matadors posted 10 season-best marks during the Chris Rinne Twilight.
- In the USTFCCA West Regional Ranking CSUN is 26th, down one from last week.
- Chris Pitts is 39th in the 400m (:46.42).
- Pitts is first in the 400m and eighth in the 200m (:21.50).
- David Phillips, Jr. is third in the 100m (:10.53) and fourth in the 200m (:21.28).
- Ahmed Mohamed is third in the triple jump (47-5 1/4).
- Isaiah Rucker is eighth in the high jump (6-6 3/4).
- Zavion Harper is 10th in the 100m hurdles (:14.68).
- The 4x400m relay is third (3:10.75).
- The 4x100m relay is fifth (:41.15).
- In the USTFCCA West Regional Ranking CSUN is 31st, down one from last week.
- Yanla Ndjip-Nyemeck is 26th in the 100m hurdles (:13.37).
- Arianna Alexander is first in the 100m (:11.74) and sixth in the 200m (:24.42).
- Ndjip-Nyemeck is first in the 100m hurdles and third in the 200m (:24.07).
- The 4x100m relay is first (:45.75).
- Sameerah Evans is third in the triple jump (40-9).
- Brianna Kelpis is seventh in the javelin (135-3).
