ABOUT LBSUÂ
Long Beach State is the only undefeated Big West team, as the Beach is 6-0 after two weeks of conference play. LBSU is 16-14 overall.

Carly Robbins leads Long Beach State and is ninth in the conference, hitting at .366. She has hit one home run and driven in 10 runs this season. Jacquelyn Bickar leads the team in home runs (3) and RBI (14).

The Beach pitching staff has earned three consecutive Big West Pitcher of the Week honors.

Shannon Haddad has gone back-to-back in being named Pitcher of the Week. She has recorded three shutouts in four Bit West starts and struck out 20 while only walking one in Big West play. She is fifth in the Big West in seven (7-5) wins.

Eryka Gonzales was named Big West Pitcher of the Week on Mar. 19. The CSUN transfer is 4-3 with a save.

CSUN is closing in on 1,500 wins as a program. When the Matadors won 2-of-3 against Hawai'i on Mar. 25, CSUN improved to 1498-973-12. The Matadors rank 13th among all Division I teams in program victories.

CARMAN IN LEFT
Mikayla Carman remains a steadying force for the Matadors in left field. Carman hit .571 during the Hawai'i series and is batting .329 overall this week.

Her 12 RBI are tied with Kaylee Escutia for the second most on the squad. In addition, Carman's 40 putouts are tied for the third most on the club with catcher Jordan Kaeka.

GALINDO'S GREAT SERIES
Sophomore catcher Kylie Galindo raised her batting average by 58 points during the Hawai'i series Mar. 25-26.

The lefty catcher hit .500 against the Rainbow Wahine, scoring one RBI and two runs. In addition, she posted a .625 slugging and .556 on-base percentage against UH. Galindo is now hitting .229 with nine RBI.

WHATMAN GETS HITÂ
Shaylan Whatman has been hit by a pitch eight times this season. She leads the Big West in the category and ranks 25th in Division I (0.32 per game).

Whatman is hitting .296 and has driven in a team-high 13 runs entering this week's action. Her 11 runs scored are the fourth highest on the Matadors.
