CSUN Cards Second Round 3-Under 281, Remains 16th at Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate

KA'ANAPALI, Maui - Junior Domenic De Luca fired a 2-under 69 to move up 24 spots while freshman Bryson Barnes remained CSUN's low scorer through two rounds of the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate on Sunday at Royal Ka'anapali Grand Resort. As a team, the Matadors posted a five-shot improvement from round one to round two but remained 16th at 1-under 567.

"We had it going, we were 9-under at one point, but overall it was definitely a better round today. We're under-par through 36 holes and hopefully we can finish the fall on a positive note tomorrow."

- After carding a 2-under 69 in Saturday's round one, Barnes added four birdies on Sunday to finish at even-par 71. Barnes is CSUN's low scorer at 2-under 140 which is 45th in the 123-player field.
- Sophomore Liam Judkins is tied for 54th at 1-under 141 after following up Saturday's even-par 71 with a 1-under 70 on Sunday which included one eagle and three birdies.
- De Luca had CSUN's low round of the day, posting one eagle, one par, and 14 pars in a 2-under 69. De Luca is now tied for 64th at even-par 142.
- Tavin Boman followed up a 6-over 77 in the first round with an even-par 71 on Sunday which included one eagle and a pair of pars. Boman is tied for 109th at 6-over 148.
- Dillon Jonke had three birdies in a round of 6-over 77 and is currently tied for 115th at 8-over 150.
- Nick Fry and Yuo Torii are both competing as individuals, with each player tied for 100th at 5-over 147.
