CSUN Men's and Women's Cross Country Team Earn All-Academic Honors

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams were placed on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams for the 2023 NCAA Division I season on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
Both Matador teams received the All-Academic distinction for the third season in a row under head coach Justin Johnson. To qualify for the All-Academic award, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
Oklahoma State was named the Men's Scholar Team of the Year while NC State received the Women's Scholar Team of the Year for 2023.
In total, 247 women's cross country teams and 215 men's cross country teams across all of Division I received the All-Academic team award this season.
