"On day one, the women's throws squad really showed some serious humility out there. Despite the chilly rain, they gave it their all and achieved some incredible feats. Emily Hutchinson smashed her personal record in the hammer throw by almost a meter and a half and Treasure Brown secured an impressive fifth place in the women's discus. They truly embody the spirit of a Matador. So proud of them."
