2021 Season (Junior)
Mendoza saw action in nine games on the field in his first season with CSUN ... Started all nine games at catcher ... Collected seven hits, four runs, two RBI and a home run to go with a .241 batting average ... Threw out 3-of-8 would be base stealers and committed just one error on the year ... Went 2-for-4 with a run scored in his first career game vs. Cal Poly (3/21/21) ... Homered for the first time in his CSUN career at Long Beach State (3/27/21) ... Singled and threw out two base runners vs. UC Irvine (4/4/21).
Riverside City College
Batted .303 with 33 hits, 27 runs, 24 RBI, 11 doubles and four home runs in his freshman season ... Helped the Tigers win 32 games and advance to the CCCAA Super Regionals in 2019 ... Tallied 10 hits, nine runs, seven walks and six RBI in 50 at bats in 2020.
