Andrew Buckley enters his first season with the Matadors as a Mental Performance Advisor.

Buckley has coached high school football in California for the past three years. He works with the team in mental discipline and a cohesive unit. Buckley comes from a military background, in which he was taught the levels of leadership and how to display that in the teams he led. Buckley uses his experience in combat to see how the levels of stress can influence the level of teamwork and leadership. He shows the teams he works with how to maintain discipline even in the face of adversity and stress.

In practice, Buckley has shown, by proven data, this level of coaching, teaching and leading, enhances the team dichotomy. Buckley brings a level of experience to the CSUN program by implementing avenues for greatness.

Buckley is married to his wife Cheryl of 25 years. They have two children, daughter, 17 and son, 14.

He currently resides in the Ventura County.
