Cartwright returned to the Matadors as a grad student in 2021 ... Made one appearance on the mound vs. Cal Poly (3/20/21) ... Worked a full inning and struck out two batters ... Earned Big West All-Academic Team honors.
2020 Season (Redshirt Senior)
Cartwright appeared in three games out of the bullpen ... Finished 0-1 with a 2.08 ERA and four strikeouts in 4.1 innings ... Worked two shutout innings, striking out three batters in an eventual win over San Francisco (2/16/20) ... Tossed a career-high 2.1 innings, allowing one run at No. 17 UCF (3/1/20) ...
