Kerner appeared in 13 games for the Matadors as a backup catcher ... Finished the season with three walks, two runs scored, a hit and an RBI in seven at bats ... Drove in a run, scored and drew two walks in a win over UC Riverside (4/6/19) ... Started at catcher on Senior Day and picked up a double vs. Cal State Fullerton (5/25/19).
