Shiffman appeared in 15 games on the mound and made one start as a true freshman ... Worked 9.2 innings and struck out eight batters, posting a 7.45 ERA ... Pitched a season-high 1.1 shutout innings vs. Kansas State (2/18/19) ... Struck out two in a shutout inning vs. No. 17 Michigan (3/1/19) ... Tossed a shutout inning vs. UC Riverside (4/5/19) ...
