HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Adolfo Camarillo High School…posted prep-bests of 2:04.00 in the 800m, 4:29.70 in the 1600m, and 9:28.62 in the 3200m…named team MVP of cross country team as a junior and as a senior…graduated with a 3.6 grade point average.

PERSONAL: Son of Joel and Elizabeth Gonzalez…a Biology major...favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cody Bellinger, Adam Sandler, Millie Bobby Brown, The Flash, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Sushi, Stick Figure, Joyner Lucas, and Coolmath.com…chose CSUN because coach Jake Hurysz had more confidence in him than any other coach that recruited him…says the best thing about being an athlete is meeting new people and competing against them…says the hardest thing about begin an athlete is the self-discipline required when working out alone…would switch places for a day with a homeless person in order to remind everyone that there are others out there that have it harder…if he could have dinner with two people it would be The Rock and Kevin Hart…his greatest hero is his dad, because the amount he works is crazy, he only sits down only when he eats, if not he’s always out working for us.
