2020 (FRESHMAN): Did not compete as the Big West canceled all 2020 Fall sports.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Burbank High School…helped Burbank finish fifth in the 2019 California State Division 1 Cross Country Championships...it was Burbank’s best finish since the state meet was implemented in the 1980s…posted a time of 16:18.50 at the state cross country championships…in track, his prep bests were 2:13.77 in the 800m, 4:48.44 in 1600m, and 10:10.39 in the 3,200m...graduated with a 3.4 grade point average.

PERSONAL: Son of John and Leticia Wright…favorites include Craig Engles, Chris Pratt, Criminal Minds, Shutter Island, pasta, Sunday Service Choir, Kanye West, and Athletic.net…chose CSUN because it gave him the opportunity to run with his high school friends and get the education he wanted…greatest sports moment so far is running in the state meet as a senior…says the best thing about being an athlete is the fitness and the organized schedule…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is he feels that other people don’t understand what it’s like to be an athlete and having a normal life…the best advice he has been given is a wise man learns from his own mistakes, a wiser man learns from others…his advice to younger people is “don’t let people determine your standards, but seek advice”…his greatest hero is Jesus, who he feels was perfect and didn’t worry for things that we worry about.
