2008 Honorable Mention All-Big West Conference
2009 (R-SENIOR): Named first team All-Conference...competed in 19 games throughout the season...earned his first career game-winning goal vs. UC Riverside (Oct. 31)...earned an assist at UC Riverside (Sept. 30)...two of his 11 shots were on goal.
2008 (R-JUNIOR): Selected honorable mention All-Conference...started all 16 matches he played...four of his 11 total shots were on goal...earned the first Matador assist of the season against Alabama A&M (Aug. 31), and earned his second assist of the season at Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 5).
2007 (REDSHIRT): Borak played in two matches before having his season cut short with an ankle injury...was granted a medical redshirt for the season.
2006 (SOPHOMORE): Started the first 11 matches of the season, playing in 14 of the first 15, before missing the final three contests with an injury...scored his first collegiate goal on against UC Riverside (Sept. 20)...had 10 shots with five coming on goal.
2005 (FRESHMAN): Was one of only five Matadors to start all 22 matches...had a pair of assists in his freshman season...helped on a goal in a win over UNLV (Sept. 17), and earned an assist on the game winning goal at UC Riverside (Sept. 28)...recorded seven shots and three on goal for the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Highland High School in Palmdale, Calif...played four year of soccer...earned All-Golden League honors his final three seasons...posted 16 goals and 20 assists in his senior season...helped the Bulldogs to a league title and an undefeated record in his sophomore year...also received MVP and team scholar-athlete awards as a junior...graduated with a 3.8 GPA.
PERSONAL: Son of Dennis and Diane Borak... majoring in Criminal Justice...has two older brothers, Shawn and Josh ... favorites include the television show “Entourage” and soccer club Chelsea FC...chose CSUN because it was an opportunity to go to a good school and play soccer...lists his greatest moment in sports as when he competed against teams in Brazil and England...says the best thing about being an athlete is “getting to travel.”
