2009 (FRESHMAN): Competed in nine matches along the back line for CSUN…did not record an offensive statistic.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Judge Memorial Catholic High School…a four-year letter winner for the Bulldogs and was elected captain for his senior season…received a Most Valuable Player award in 2009…earned two consecutive All-State honors in his final two years…graduated with a 3.2 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Born in Boise, Idaho…son of Tim and Deb Troy… majoring in cinematography…has two sisters Martine and Kim...played on Olympique Montreux for the Summer Men's Premiere League…favorites include the professional teams Yeti and Fox Factory DH, professional athlete Sergio Ramos, actors Mark Strong and Kristen Bell, the television show "Modern Marvels," Thai food and the movie "Shutter Island"…favorite website is www.pinkbike.com...chose Northridge because of the soccer team, the cinematography program and the weather…says the best thing about being an athlete is being able to eat a lot of food often and not feel bad about it, while the toughest parts are "double days"…chose his number because associate head coach Yossi Raz wore it and he wants to play well with it…the person in history he would most like to meet is Winston Churchill…advice he would give to young people is "put in the work, then play”…would like Josh Harnett to play him in a movie about his life…his greatest hero is his grandfather.
