2022 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 11 matches...recorded lone assist on David Diaz's goal in the 2-1 loss to UC Irvine on Oct. 22...took one shot in 93 minutes of action.
2021 (FRESHMAN): Played 151 minutes in five matches as a defender.
2020: Did not compete as the Big West canceled all Fall 2020 sports due to the COVID-19 crisis.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Birmingham Community Charter High School…a second-team All-League selection…CLUB EXPERIENCE: played for the Real So Cal Club program.

PERSONAL: Son of Hector and Elvira Villanueva…a Kinesiology-Sport Studies major...favorites include Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo, Denzel Washington, Jennifer Lawrence, La Casa De Papel, and Scarface…chose CSUN, feeling that the team is a brotherhood that he felt that he was a part of right away…also feels that CSUN is like home and is close to where he lives…the person he would like to meet in history is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr...his greatest heroes are his parents, who he feels that he sacrificed their time and lives to helping his sister and having a better life that they did.
