2007 (SOPHOMORE): Chosen honorable mention All-Conference…started 19-of-20 matches…led the Matadors with 30 shots and 14 shots on goal, and was tied for the team lead with four goals and 11 points…scored and assisted in the opening match, a 6-1 victory over Detroit Mercy collected the only goal in a 2-1 loss to Michigan…scored in consecutive matches at Cal State Fullerton (Oct. 3) and at UC Irvine (Oct. 6), a pair of 1-1 ties…assisted on goals in the final two matches of the season…played a season-high 91 minutes vs. Memphis (Sept. 9).
2006 (FRESHMAN): Chosen second team All-Conference…led the team in points (14), shots (44) and was tied for the team lead in goals with six…tied for seventh among Big West players in goals and tied for eighth in points…team was 5-0-2 when he had at least one point…also added two assists…had an assist in his first collegiate start against UCLA (Aug. 26) scored his first career goal in his next match against Oakland (Sept. 8) had a three point match with a goal and an assist in a win over UC Irvine (Oct. 11) also scored in wins over Santa Clara (Sept. 17), UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 27) and Oregon State (Oct. 31) and in a tie against UC Davis (Oct. 1)…had at least one shot in 16 of his 18 matches and at least four shots in four matches, including a season best six against UC Santa Barbara started 15 times.

PERSONAL: Born in Seoul, South Korea…son of Woo-Seob and Eok-Bong Kim…a graphic design major…brother is Ji-Hoon…favorites include Manchester United, English soccer star Wayne Rooney, the movie "Ladder 49" and actresses Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman…prays as a pre-game ritual…person in history he would most like to meet is Bill Gates…states the biggest obstacle he has had to overcome was having ACL surgery and not being able to practice for a year…would want Pele to star in a movie about his life.
