Boaz Serson appeared in 26 of CSUN's 29 matches and 55 sets in his first season at CSUN as a true freshman ... finished his first season with nine kills (0.16 kps) while taking 42 swings ... also added 15 digs (0.27 dps), four blocks, and eight aces, which ranked sixth on the Matadors ... put down a season-high two kills against both UCLA (Jan. 24) and St. Thomas Aquinas (Feb. 1) ... hit a season-high .500 against both USC (Jan. 22) and St. Thomas Aquinas ... also served a season-high three aces to go with four digs against UCLA (Jan. 24) ... recorded all four blocks in CSUN's 3-0 win over Menlo (Jan. 11).Â
