Bradley Sakaida appeared in all 27 matches and 96 sets as a redshirt freshman ... was one of three Matadors (Greg Faulkner, Travis Magorien) to appear in all 27 matches ... played both libero and outside hitter for CSUN and was named to the seven player MPSF All-Freshman Team ... finished the season with a team-high 185 digs while averaging 1.93 digs per set which ranked 13th in the MPSF ...also posted 43 kills (0.45 kps), 48 assists (0.50 aps), nine aces (0.09 saps) and 12 blocks (0.12 bps) ... had double figures in digs eight times including a season-high 20 digs in the Matadors' 3-0 win over Pacific (Feb. 28) ... knocked down a season-high seven kills while hitting .462 on 13 attacks at No. 7 UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 12) ... posted three kills, four digs and a season-high three aces at No. 7 Long Beach State (Apr. 10).

Sakaida was a four-year starter in volleyball at Oak Park High School in Oak Park, Calif. ... played libero his first two seasons and outside hitter his final two seasons for the Eagles and coach Patrick Quinn ... the Eagles won the 2012 CIF Division II championship and were state regional runners-up ... earned first team All-CIF honors in 2011 and 2012 and was a second team pick in 2010 ... was a Volleyball Magazine Fab-50 selection and made the 2012 AVCA Boys All-America Team ... was Tri-Valley League MVP in both 2011 and 2012 ... also competed for several club teams including Legacy, Pacific Palisades and Beach bones ... graduated in 2012.
