Greg Faulkner appeared in a team-high 27 matches and 96 sets as a junior ... joined Travis Magorien and Bradley Sakaida as the only CSUN players to appear in all 27 matches in 2014 ... knocked down a career-high 219 kills while hitting a team-high .430 on 388 attacks which is also a career-high and ranked fifth in the MPSF...joined teammate Sam Holt as an All-MPSF honorable mention selection... also recorded a team and career-high 92 blocks (0.96 bps), 28digs, five aces and 11 assists ... pounded a career-high 18 kills while hitting .552 on a career-high 29 attacks in CSUN's five-set win at UC San Diego (Mar. 29) ... also had a season-high seven blocks and a career-high five digs against the Tritons ... reached double figures in kills seven times including a 12-kill effort against No. 15 Ohio State (Mar. 15) ... matched his career with one ace in five different matches. Faulkner appeared in four matches and seven sets as a redshirt sophomore ... started the season opener at No. 5 UCLA (Jan. 8) and had one kill and one block assist ... also had one kill in five swings in the season finale at No. 2 Long Beach State (Apr.13).
CSUN -Â 2012 (Sophomore)
Faulkner was granted a medical redshirt season for the Matadors following his sophomore season.
CSUN -Â 2011 (Freshman)
Faulkner appeared in 81 games over 26 matches as a true freshman... earned 22 starts at the middle blocker spot ... earned MPSF All-Freshman Team honors ... finished second on the team with a .363 hitting percentage and was fifth on the squad with 145 kills(1.79 kpg) ... committed just 42 hitting errors in 284 swings... led the Matadors in blocks with 69 total including a team-high 13 solo stuffs ... knocked down a season-high 11 kills while hitting .353 to go with six blocks in Northridge's 3-1 win at No. 12 UC San Diego (Feb. 19) ... posted 10 kills while hitting.353 in the Matadors' 3-2 upset over No. 2 Long Beach State (Feb.11) and also had 10 kills at No. 3 UCLA (Jan. 19) ... posted a season-high eight blocks (one solo) at No. 2 Stanford (Mar.25).
WESTCHESTER HIGH SCHOOL
Faulkner competed in volleyball all four years (2006-10) at Westchester High School in Los Angeles, Calif. ... was named CIF Division II Player of the Year in 2010 for the Comets who won the Western League championship with a 15-3 record ... graduated in 2010.
