Stilian Delibosov appeared in 28 of 29 matches and 105 of 111 sets for the Matadors in his first season at CSUN as a true freshman ... earned AVCA Honorable Mention All-America honors in addition to First Team All-Big West and Big West All-Freshman Team accolades ... was also named to the Off The Block Freshman All-America Team ... ranked third on the team with 201 kills (1.91 kps) while hitting a team-high .503 on 340 swings ... led the Big West in hitting (.503) and would rank second nationally with enough attempts to qualify ... finished second to Donovan Constable (49) with 31 aces while averaging 0.30 aces per set which ranked 14th in the Big West ... led CSUN with 110 total blocks (1.05 bps - 2nd in the Big West) which included 14 solo stuffs ... also added 37 digs and 17 assists in his debut season ... hit a season-high .889 with eight kills on nine errorless swings in his collegiate debut against Tusculum at the UCSB Invitational (Jan. 9) ... recorded double digits in kills six times, posting a season-high 15 kills on .684 hitting against No. 19 Princeton (Mar. 12) ... served a season-high five aces in a 3-1 win over Jessup (Feb. 14) and had a CSUN season-high 11 blocks against Menlo (Jan. 11).
VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF TRANSPORT
Delibosov was a three-year starter as a middle blocker at Vocational High School of Transport in Razlog, Bulgaria ... earned Razlog Municipality and his school's Athlete of the Year in 2022 ... was named Best Outside Hitter in 2022-2023 and Best Middle Blocker in 2002-2021 and 2021-2022 ... also named Best Server ... also competed in the Bulgarian Junior Championship ... graduated in 2024.

Born in Sofia, Bulgaria ... mother is Rosibsa Popova and stepfather is Ivan Popov ... has one younger brother, Mihail ... favorites include Atletico Madrid FC, LeBron James, actors Johnny Depp and Jennifer Aniston, the TV show "Prison Break" and the the music of Deep Purple and Bryan Adams ... says he chose CSUN because of the "location and volleyball" ... says his greatest sports moment was earning "fifth place at the World Championships" ... majoring in kinesiology/physical education.
