2023 (GRADUATE): Named 2023 Honorable Mention All-Conference...tied for the team lead in appearances with Isabella Alonso (28)...led the team in ERA (2.87) and saves (4)...raised her career save total to 22, the fifth most in Division I history...was 5-2 overall...in Big West-only statistics, Gardiner was the league leader in saves (4), fourth in runs allowed (16), fifth in hits allowed (35), sixth in ERA (1.65), and seventh in opponent batting average (.214)...named to the 2023 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators...selected as a Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete...chosen Academic All-Conference.
2022 (GRADUATE): The team leader in wins with nine (9-4)...her three saves led the squad and tied for the league lead in the category with four other players...finished the regular season 33rd in Division I in saves...was second on the team in ERA (3.46), second in appearances (29), and third in innings pitched (64.2)...struck out a season high four in a season high 5.2 innings at San Diego State on Mar. 12...earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Earned her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from UT Arlington…led the Sun Belt Conference in saves with five after leading the Mavericks in appearances with 32 in 2021…went 3-3 with a 4.09 ERA and struck out 33 in 63.1 innings…the 2020 COVID-19 shortened season was highlighted by a 13-strikeout performance in a shutout victory over Abilene Christian on Feb. 9…would go 4-0 with two saves and a 2.54 ERA (the ninth best in the Sun Belt) during the campaign…as a freshman, pitched in 43 of the 63 UTA games and was the winning pitcher for the Mavericks in the National Invitational Softball Championship game…led the Sun Belt and was eighth in Division I in saves with eight…posted a 2.88 ERA, a team-best, and sixth lowest in the Sun Belt Conference.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Yorba Linda High School…coach was Sharon Farrell…struck out 188 in 142 innings as a senior on her way to leading Yorba Linda to the Crestview League title…named Crestview League Pitcher of the Year and first team All-League as a senior…chosen second team All-Orange County in 2018…struck out 179 in 163 innings as a junior.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Steve and Christie Gardiner…is pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration...favorites include the San Francisco Giants, Madison Bumgarner, Chris Evans, Mila Kunis, Big Brother, The Avengers, Pepperoni Pizza, Maverick City Music, and Chris Renzema…chose CSUN because she will get to play for Coach Morgan again and because of the awesome culture the coaching staff and players are creating…also chose CSUN because she will get to be close to her family again for the first time in over three years…says greatest sports moment so far is being the winning pitcher of the NISC Championship game against Iowa State during her freshman season...says the best thing about an athlete is the lifelong friendships that you make with your teammates and coaches…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is having little time to rest and slow down…chose to wear 00 as an eight-year old because she thought it was the coolest number and has stuck with it ever since…says the best athletes she has played against are Rachel Garcia and Jocelyn Alo…the most famous person she has met is Big Sean…would like to switch places for one day with Jeff Bezos.
