A 2022 graduate of Great Oak High School…team won the 2019 Southwestern League title and were CIF runner-up…CLUB EXPERIENCE: played travel ball for Athletics Mercado Ornelas.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Luis and Pamela Mejia…a Music major...favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Justin Turner, Will Farrell, Julia Roberts, Friends, The Other Woman, Seafood, Mötley Crüe, Tupac Shakur, and Amazon.com…chose CSUN because she loves the atmosphere of being on campus and talking with the coaches, they made me feel supported and told me that I would be able to major in Biology…says her greatest sports moment so far was playing in a tournament in 12u and if we won the tournament, we would get white pants and I swear I will never forget that day we played with every ounce in our bodies, and we came out as champions!...says the best thing about being an athlete is the relationships you create with the people you play with, from coaches who have your back even when you are struggling and teammates that lay it all out on the line for you every time!...says the toughest thing about being an athlete is your mental game, it can make or break players and players with confidence always play better, but it is not a simple thing to be confident…says the best athlete she has played against is Sarah Willis…the person in history she would like to meet is Tupac Shakur…would like to switch places for one day with Kendall Jenner…the two people she would like to have dinner with are Bob Marley and Tupac Shakur…says her greatest hero is her mom because she does absolutely everything for me, she is always there for me and there is no one that makes me feel comforted the way she comforts me!
