2023 (FRESHMAN): Made 14 appearances, starting five times...lone complete game start was a two-hitter as the Matadors defeated NCAA Tournament qualifier LMU 4-0 on Apr. 3...struck out a season-high eight against the Lions...went 2-2 with a 5.06 ERA...pitched 27.2 innings...struck out 22 while walking 15...selected as a Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2022 graduate of Sutter Union High School…named to SBLive All-Northern Section Player of the Year, SBLive California first team All-State, and SBLive Northern Section MVP as a senior…led Sutter Union to a 31-1 record, the Northern Section Division 4 Championship and the CIF Division 3 Northern Regional title...went 25-1 with 303 strikeouts in 2022…allowed only nine earned runs in 154 innings pitched for a 0.41 ERA…offensively, hit .470, with two home runs, 35 RBI, 16 doubles and a 1.170 OPS as a senior...selected 2021 MVP of Butte View League…chosen SBLive 2021 Northern Section Athlete of the Year…selected 2021 Cal-High Sports runner-up for Small School Player of the Year and a Cal-High Small school All-State selection…went 18-0 in the circle in 2021 with four no-hitters (one perfect game) and struck out 179 in 118 innings…recorded an 0.89 ERA as opposing batters only hit .158…hit .570 with two home runs and 10 doubles as a junior…posted a 22-1 record as a pitcher as a sophomore…struck out 276 in 133 innings and charted a 0.32 ERA…hit .473 with two home runs and 34 RBI as a sophomore…Sutter Union went 88-6 during her four-year prep career…earned the school Academic Award…CLUB EXPERIENCE: played travel ball for Sorcerer Gabalas-Rodriguez 18U Gold.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Thomas and Shannon Wickum…an English major...favorites include the San Francisco Giants, Buster Posey, Big Brother, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Pasta, Florida Georgia Line, and Morgan Wallen…chose CSUN because she loved the family atmosphere and all that it had to offer, she also loved the coaching staff, and believes in Coach Morgan’s vision…says her greatest sports moment so far is going undefeated 24-0 my junior year of high school and beating some top tier teams, also throwing a perfect game to start the season off and throwing a no-hitter vs. our rivals on our last game of my junior year…says the best thing about being an athlete is the amount of support there is from everyone, and all of the people that you meet along the way…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is trying to balance everything out with school, social life, etc.…says the best athlete she has played against Jenissa Conway...the most famous person she has met is Jennie Finch…the people in history she would like to meet are her ancestors…would like to switch places for one day with Rachel Garcia…two people to have dinner with are Jessica Moore and Taylor Pack…the best advice she has been given is to believe in myself…her advice to young people is don’t take things for granted, because you never know when your sport or anything could end…her greatest hero is her dad, because he has pushed her and helped me grow into the person that I am today.
