2011 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 38 games and made 20 starts...finished the year 7-15 with a 4.97 ERA, seven complete games, one shutout and three saves...added 66 strikeouts and 101 walks in 136.2 innings of work...numbers improved to 4-3 with a 2.70 ERA, three complete games, one shutout and a save in Big West season...earned first career victory in win over Nevada by tossing 4.2 innings of one-run relief work...nailed down first career save in CSUN’s win over Portland State on Feb. 12 by recording the final two outs in a one-run game...also posted victories over North Dakota and Ohio State...tossed a complete game in Matadors’ victory over Long Beach State on April 8...picked up both wins in a CSUN doubleheader sweep over UC Riverside on May 7...tossed first career shutout in Matadors’ victory over Cal State Fullerton in game two of a doubleheader on May 13...picked up a save in Matadors’ victory over Cal State Fullerton on May 14...the three saves already ties her for 10th in school history for a career and ranks seventh in school history for a single season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Matier Dei High School...a four-year letter winner earned All-League honors and helped team to two league championships .
PERSONAL: Daughter of Ann and John Wade...undecided upon a major...has one brother, Ryan...favorites include the Chicago Bears, Brian Urlacher and “Toy Story”...most famous person she’s ever met is Mike Ditka...best advice she has been given is “everything happens for a reason.”
