PERSONAL
Daughter of Strahil Goodman and Cathryn Bird … favorites include Grigor Dimitrov, Joe Burrow, Grey’s Anatomy, and Morgan Wallen … chose CSUN because of head coach Gary Victor who has watched her grow up during junior tournaments, and he has always believed in her … says the best thing about being an athlete is being able to do what she loves everyday … says the toughest thing about being an athlete are the injuries and pains that come with training and competing, players work hard to prevent them, but sometimes they are inevitable and it is just tough to deal with mentally…when she has time to relax, she is at the beach … she says the biggest obstacle she has overcome is recovering from tearing her ACL which required three surgeries, and forced her to miss three seasons of competition.
