CSUN - 2021 (Junior)
Kailey Klein played in all 26 beach matches for the Matadors as a junior in 2021 ... ranked second on the team with 12 wins, playing alongside Lauren McMurray at the No. 4 position ... the pair finished 10-8 in dual matches and 2-6 in tournament matches ... heads into her senior season with 32 wins which ranks sixth in program history ... her career winning percentage of .542 (32-27) ranks seventh in CSUN history ... paired with McMurray, the duo finished the season 12-13 at No. 4 and 0-1 at No. 3 which ranks 10th for a single season wins in program history ... opened the season with three wins in CSUN's first four matches and posted a four-match winning streak from Apr. 2-3 ... finished 1-2 at the Big West Tournament with a straight-set (21-18, 21-12) victory over Sacramento State (Apr. 30).
CSUN - 2020 (Sophomore)
Klein played in all five of CSUN's matches during the abbreviated 2020 season ... won four of five matches teamed with Taylor Brydon at the No. 3 pair ... the pair was 2-0 in dual matches and 2-1 in tournament matches to finish the season with a 4-1 record ... opened the season with four straight wins, defeating The Master's and Cal State LA (Feb. 29) and San Francisco and Santa Clara (Mar. 7) ... only loss came in three sets in the season-finale to Saint Mary's at the Big West/West Coast Conference Challenge in Santa Cruz (Mar. 7) ... three of the pairs' four wins came in straight sets.
CSUN - 2019 (Freshman)
Klein played in all 28 CSUN beach volleyball matches during her first season ... posted a 16-12 overall match record playing with Cassidy Rosso at No. 5 ... finished the season with a 12-6 dual match record and a 4-6 tournament record ... the pair posted CSUN's third-best season win total (16) and a .571 winning percentage ... defeated Sacramento State in straight sets (Mar. 31) which began a season-long seven-match winning streak ... won by 2-0 sweep in all 16 victories ... finished 2-2 at the Big West Tournament at Zuma Beach with 2-0 wins over UC Davis (Apr. 26) and CSU Bakersfield (Apr. 27).

Klein was a four-year letterwinner in beach volleyball at Xavier College Prep in Phoenix, Ariz. ... compiled an overall record of 58-3 over her four-year high school career ... was named to the Arizona Republic All-Arizona Beach Volleyball Team in 2017 ... also was the Arizona Region beach point champion for 18U in 2017 ... was a three-time AIA Beach Volleyball State Champion from 2015-17 ... earned Most Valuable Player honors for the Gators indoor volleyball team as a freshman in 2014 ... graduated in 2018.
