CSUN - 2020 (Junior)
Lauren McMurray played in all five matches for the Matadors as a junior ... paired with Daniella Molinari for all five matches as CSUN's No. 4 pair, posting a 4-1 record ... the pair was 2-0 in dual matches and 2-1 in tournament matches ... opened the season with straight-set wins over The Master's and Cal State LA (Feb. 29) before suffering its only loss in three sets to San Francisco at the Big West/West Coast Conference Challenge (Mar. 7) ... rebounded to finish the tournament and season with victories over Santa Clara and Saint Mary's (Mar. 7) ... had one of the Matadors' two wins in the 3-2 loss to Saint Mary's ... three of the pairs' four wins came in straight sets ... has 36 individual wins in three seasons which ranks third in program history ... ranks second with a career individual winning percentage of .621 (36-22).
CSUN - 2019 (Sophomore)
McMurray played in all 28 CSUN beach volleyball matches during her sophomore season ... posted a team-leading 18-10 overall match record playing with Taylor Brydon at No. 3 and No. 4 ... also had the Matadors' top winning percentage of .643 ... the pair earned honorable mention All-Big West honors ... finished the season 14-8 in 22 matches at No. 3 and 4-2 in six matches at No. 4 ... the pair posted a 13-5 dual match record and a 5-5 tournament record ... had winning streaks of seven-matches (Mar. 31-Apr. 26) and five-matches (Mar. 13-Mar. 20) ... helped CSUN to 3-2 wins over CSU Bakersfield (Mar. 29), UC Davis (Mar. 30) and Sacramento State (Mar. 31) ... finished 2-2 at the Big West Tournament at Zuma Beach with 2-0 wins over UC Davis (Apr. 26) and CSU Bakersfield (Apr. 27) ... was one of three Matadors named to the Big West All-Academic Team.
CSUN - 2018 (Freshman)
McMurray played in all 25 CSUN beach volleyball matches in her first season ... posted a 10-5 dual match record and a 4-5 tournament record playing with Autumn Russell at No. 3 ... paired with Cassidy Rosso at the Big West Tournament (Apr. 27), falling to Cal Poly's No. 4 pair by the score of 21-13, 21-17 ... with Russell, won eight of the final 11 matches of the season at No. 3 including a 21-16, 21-16 victory over Loyola Marymount (Apr. 12) ... the pair posted 11 straight set wins.
MOUNTAIN POINTE HIGH SCHOOL
McMurray lettered in beach volleyball at Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, Ariz. ... was named Best Offensive Player as a senior in 2017 ... also played two seasons for the Pride indoor team as a middle blocker in 2013 and 2014 ... graduated in 2017 with a 3.6 grade point average.

Born in Phoenix, Ariz. ... parents are Nancy and Jeff McMurray ... her sister attends the University of Arizona ... favorites include the Arizona Cardinals, professional beach player Casey Patterson, the TV show "The Office" and the movie "Stuck in Love" ... says she chose CSUN because of the "Beautiful campus, great coaches and the great volleyball program" ... says the best thing about being an athlete is "seeing all my hard work pay off and win games" ... majoring in Construction Management.
