Meagan Carter played in all five matches in her first season at CSUN ... won four of five matches paired with Lauren Eknoian, playing all five matches at No. 5 ... the pair finished 2-0 in dual matches and 2-1 in tournament matches ... opened the season with four straight wins, defeating The Master's and Cal State LA (Feb. 29) and San Francisco and Santa Clara (Mar. 7) ... only loss came in straight sets in the season-finale to Saint Mary's (Mar. 7) at the Big West/West Coast Conference Challenge in Santa Cruz ... two of the pairs' four wins came in straight sets.
HOUSTON BAPTIST
Carter played two seasons of beach volleyball at Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas ... finished 19-4 for the Huskies with a team-leading .826 winning percentage as a sophomore in 2019 ... paired with Danielle Wheeler for all 23 matches, finishing 17-4 at No. 5 and 2-0 in exhibition matches ... finished her freshman season (2018) with a 7-14 overall record ... played six matches with Kali Fluke at No. 5, posting a 3-3 record ... went 4-11 in 15 matches with Jordyn Miller, finishing 1-1 at No. 4, 0-3 at No. 5 and 3-7 in exhibition matches ... the Huskies won Southland Conference beach volleyball championships both seasons.
FRONTIER HIGH SCHOOL
Carter was a three-year letterwinner in indoor volleyball at Frontier High School in Bakersfield, Calif. ... played both middle and setter for the Titans and coach Steven Bently ... hit .297 with 209 kills, 36 digs, 91 blocks and 27 aces as a senior ... graduated in 2017.
