Lexi McLeod played in 25 of CSUN's 26 beach matches during her junior season ... paired with Seyvion Waggoner for all 25 matches, finishing the season with a 9-16 overall record ... heads into her senior season with 31 career wins which ranks seventh in program history ... also ranks eighth in CSUN's beach history with a .534 winning percentage (31-27) ... with Waggoner, finished 8-9 in dual matches and 1-7 in tournament matches ... posted all nine wins (9-14) at the No. 2 position and finished 0-2 playing as the Matadors' No. 1 pair ... won a season-best four straight dual matches from Apr. 2-3 which included wins over Vanguard, Pacific, Concordia and St. Katherine ... finished 1-2 at the Big West Championship tournament, defeating Sacramento State (13-21, 21-17, 15-8) while falling to No. 15 Hawai'i and CSU Bakersfield.
CSUNÂ - 2020 (Sophomore)
Lexi McLeod played in all five matches for CSUN during the abbreviated 2020 season ... paired with Aeryn Owens as CSUN's No. 1 team and finished the season with a perfect 5-0 record ... the duo's winning percentage (1.000) is the best in program history ... the pair dropped just two sets in five matches ... swept The Master's and Cal State LA (Feb. 29) and Santa Clara (Mar. 7) and defeated San Francisco and Saint Mary's (Mar. 7) in three sets ... had one of the Matadors' two wins in the 3-2 loss to Saint Mary's ... now has 22 individual wins which ties for 10th with Taylor Brydon and Lauren Conati in program history ... is tied with Brydon for the top individual winning percentage in program history at .667 (22-11).
CSUNÂ - 2019Â (Freshman)
McLeod played in all 28 CSUN beach volleyball matches during her freshman season ... posted a 17-11 overall match record playing with Nicole Nevarez at No. 3 and No. 4 ... finished the season with a 12-6 dual match record and a 5-5 tournament record ... the pair tied for CSUN's second-best season win total (17) and a .607 winning percentage ... finished the season with a 15-7 record at No. 4 and a 2-4 record playing at No. 3 ... posted a seven-match winning streak from Mar. 31-Apr. 26 ... 15 of the pairs' 17 wins came by 2-0 sweep ... finished 2-2 at the Big West Tournament at Zuma Beach with 2-0 wins over UC Davis (Apr. 26) and CSU Bakersfield (Apr. 27).
CENTENNIALÂ HIGH SCHOOL
McLeod was a four-year starter at outside hitter at Centennial High School in Bakersfield, Calif. ... earned All-Area honors all four years for the Golden Hawks ... was named team Most Valuable Player as well as Area All-Star Athlete as a senior in 2017 ... earned the team's Big Hitter Award in 2016 and was named Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 2014 ... recorded 1,150 kills and 1,279 digs during her high school career ... also won a Silver Medal at the 2014 Junior Olympics in beach volleyball in addition to several other medals in Summer competition ... graduated in 2018 with a 3.5 grade point average.
