CSUNÂ - 2025 (Sophomore)
Maleya Miles competed in 34 of CSUN's 35 matches as a sophomore in 2025 ... finished the season with an overall record of 19-15 ... her 19 wins tied for third-most on the team ... paired with Layla Cerderlind 33 times and with Hannah Heflin once ... with Cederlind, finished 18-15 which was the second-best pairs team record for CSUN in 2025 and 18 wins ties for third in program history for a single season ... the pair finished 0-3 at No. 3, 11-7 at No. 4, and 7-5 at No. 5 ... had CSUN's top record over the last 10 dual matches of the year, finishing 6-4 which included a win over Cal State Bakersfield in the Big West Beach Championship (Apr. 25) ... also won four straight from Mar. 18-19 with wins over No. 19 FIU and Nebraska ... playing with Heflin, posted a three-set (8-21, 21-19, 15-3) win over Concordia on the No. 4 court (Mar. 7) ... opens her third CSUN season with 27 career wins.
CSUNÂ - 2024 (Freshman)
Maleya Miles competed in all 36 matches in her first season with CSUN beach volleyball as a freshman in 2024 ... finished the season with an 8-28 individual record ... played 16 times with Kinley Lindhardt (4-12), played 13 times with Abbey Sweeting (3-10), six times with Layla Cederlind (0-6), and once with Lauren Eknoian (1-0) ... with Lindhardt, finished 4-12 playing in the No. 4 pair ... defeated The Master's (twice), Sacramento State, and Cal State LA ... with Sweeting, picked up wins over Cal State Bakersfield and two over Cal State LA at No. 4 ... also earned a straight-set win with Eknoian, defeating Westcliff 21-12, 24-22) in the No. 2 pair. Â
NEVADA STATEÂ HIGHÂ SCHOOL
Miles played two seasons on the indoor volleyball team at Nevada State High School in Henderson, Nev. ... earned second-team all-league honors as an outside hitter for the Renegades in 2022 ... was also named team Most Valuable Player ... played both outside hitter and middle blocker for coach Chris Sisson ... finished her senior season with 228 kills, 255 digs, 39 aces, and 31 blocks ... graduated in 2023, earning Advanced Diploma honors.

Born in Woodland Hills, Calif. ... mother is Malissa Miles, who also attended CSUN ... favorites include the Seattle Seahawks, the TV show "Suits" and the music of Arctic Monkeys and Kendrick Lamar ... says she chose CSUN because "Ari (Homayun) is an amazing & passionate coach and my mom went to CSUN" ... says the toughest thing about being a student-athlete is "balancing a loaded schedule and finding free time" ... says no one knows how much she loves plants ... majoring in psychology.
