2013 (JUNIOR): Ran five times, running a 5k season best 20:15. to finish 153rd at the Sacramento State Inter-Regional Jamboree (Oct. 4)...posted season best 6k time of 25:17.40 at the Sept. 28 Stanford Invitational...finished 60th at the Big West Championship (25:34.70).
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent two seasons at Ventura College...earned All-Western State Conference honors in both 2010 and 2011...was named Freshman of the Year in 2012 and also earned the Coaches Award in 2011...earned her associate of arts degree in general studies.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Camarillo High School...ran the 800m, 1,500m, mile and 4x400m relay for the Scorpions track team...top 800m time was 2:26.00...earned the Persuing Victory with Honor award for the cross country team in 2008...graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Lisa Laughlin and father is James Olaiz...major is Kinesiology...stepfather is Blake Laughlin...has two brothers, James and Anthony...favorites include the movie "The Notebook", lasagna, the color pink and the music of Taylor Swift.
