Michelle Duan competed in nine tournaments and 24 rounds in her first season at CSUN ... finished the season with a 78.0 scoring average which ranked third on the team ... took a total of 1,872 strokes over 24 rounds ... had a pair of top-20 finishes, including a season-best 16th place finish at the Cal Poly Invitational (Oct. 28-29) where she fired a 13-over 157 ... finished tied for 20th at the Big West Championship with a 54-hole total of 229 (+16) ... low round of the season was a 72 (+1) in round one of the Big West Championship (Apr. 15-17) in Irvine ... low 54-hole tournament score of 223 (+7) came at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic where she placed 34th.
UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA
Duan spent two seasons at the University of Nevada in Reno, Nev. ... played in three of 10 tournaments and eight rounds for the Wolfpack as a freshman ... did not compete as a sophomore ... was a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete … set the school record low round with a 66 at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown … finished the tournament at even par, her best to par showing of the season … best finish of the season was 49th at the Sacramento State Invitational ... played in eight rounds, three of which were scores of 75 or better … posted a scoring average of 77.25.

Duan lettered in golf all four years at Robert McQueen High School in Reno, Nev. ... earned first team All-Region honors all four years (2011-14) ... was also named first team All-State in 2014 after finishing second at the state championship ... the Lancers won High Desert League championships in 2012 and 2015 under coach Mark Harbrect ... graduated in 2015 with a 3.6 grade point average.
