2016 (SENIOR): Finished with a 0-2 mark in singles play...lost in No. 6 singles to opponents from Stanislaus State and Cal State LA in her final season...earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
2015 (JUNIOR): Went 1-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles play...won in straight sets against Westmont in singles play and teamed with Samantha Judan to post a doubles win over Westmont...earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
2014 (SOPHOMORE): Went 3-0 in singles play...played at the sixth draw and earned wins over Montana, UMKC and Cal State Fullerton...earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
2013 (FRESHMAN): Went 1-1 in singles action and 1-0 in doubles...picked up her first career singles victory against Stanislaus State...teamed with Jessica Warren to record a No. 3 doubles win over Cal State Stanislaus...earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of J Serra Catholic High School...played four seasons of tennis for the Lions and head coach Kirk Oranood...earned multiple league MVP honors, sportsmanship awards and scholar-athlete awards...took league title in singles twice and helped lead team to a CIF appearance and win in school history.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Carol and John Chang...majoring in communication studies...has one sister, Kimberly...includes John Isner, Ashton Kutcher, Anne Hathaway and "Mumford and Sons" as some of her favorites...advice to young people is "play for yourself and no one else"...names her dad as her greatest hero.
