Ruiz spent her first two years of college at Riverside City College from 2023-25, competing for both cross country and track & field ... won two Orange Empire Conference titles with the track & field team ... qualified for the SoCal Regional Championships in the steeplechase... attended Norte Vista High School and graduated in 2023 ... competed for her high school cross country and track & field teams ... a member of four conference championship teams in cross country .... participated in the CIF prelims in cross country from 2019-22 ... received the Coach's Award ... named to the Principal's Honor Roll.Â
