OUTDOOR: Competed in the 1500m four times with a best time coming at the Apr. 4 San Francisco State Distance Carnival (5:18.26)...season best 13th in the 1500m at the Northridge Invitational (Mar. 21)...entered the 800m at the May 2 CSUN Challenge, running 2:38.15.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Finished 67th at the Big West Championship (Nov. 1) running a 6k season best 24:59.30...posted season best 5k time at the Highlander Invitational Oct. 18 (20:32.30)...ran two other times (Stanford and San Diego State).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Sylmar High School...competed in both track & field and cross country...was named MVP of the Spartans' cross country and track teams as a senior.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Maria Carmen...has two sisters, Magaly and Elizabeth...says if she had a million dollars she would "give it to my mother to start paying back all she has done for me"...says the best advice she's been given is "every day is a great day".
