Cieana Stinson appeared in all 28 matches and 100 of 101 sets as a junior ... was named first team All-Big West for the first time in her career ... led the Matadors with a season career-high 329 kills while finishing second with a 3.29 kills per set average ... also ranked third in points, averaging a career-high 3.56 points per set ...finished the season hitting .265 on a team-high 850 swings ... also recorded 40 blocks (0.40 bps) and 37 digs (0.37) for the season ... put down a career-high 26 kills on a career-high 54 attacks to lead CSUN to a 3-2 win over UNLV (Aug. 30) ... was named UNLV Invitational MVP as well as Big West Player of the Week (Sept. 1) for her efforts ... reached double figures in kills 19 times giving her 43 for her Matador career ... posted 21 kills while hitting .333 against UC Davis (Oct. 24) ... set a career-high with four digs on four separate occasions.
CSUN - 2013 (Sophomore)
Stinson appeared in all 31 matches and 120 of 123 sets during her sophomore season ... finished fourth on the Matadors with 297 kills while averaging 2.47 kills per set ... ranked fourth on the squad averaging 2.8 points per set ...wound up hitting .230 on 748 swings ... also had 51 blocks (0.43 bps) and 30 digs (0.25 dps) for the season ... pounded a season-high 19 kills in a career-high 41 attacks to lead CSUN to a 3-2 win over UC Davis (Sept. 28) ... reached double figures in kills 18 times giving her 24 for her Matador career ... posted 16 kills at Long Beach State (Nov. 9) and had 15 kills against Colorado State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (Dec. 5) ... hit a season-high .500 (11-2-18) in the season-opening win over Santa Clara (Aug. 30) ...set a new career-high with six digs in CSUN's 3-2 victory at Long Beach State (Nov. 9).
CSUN - 2012 (Freshman)
Stinson appeared in 31 matches and 103 sets as a true freshman ... finished fourth on the team with 210 kills and ranked fifth averaging 2.04 kills per set ... hit .184 in 570 attacks ... was the teams' fourth-leading blocker with 89 total blocks ... was also fourth with 79 block assists ... pounded a career-high 18 kills while hitting a season-best .387 in the Matadors' 3-1 win over Long Beach State (Sept. 27) ... her season-best kills total ranked second to Mahina Haina's 19 against Idaho ... also had five blocks against Long Beach State for a season-best 21.5 points ... blocked a season-high nine attacks against James Madison (Sept. 1) ... took a season-high 36 swings at UC Davis (Nov. 16) ... notched her first collegiate kill against Utah Valley (Aug. 24) and her first ace at Rice (Sept. 14).

Stinson began her prep career at Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, Calif. before finishing her career and graduating from Taft High School in Woodland Hills, Calif. ... was named Most Outstandng Female Athlete at Taft as a senior in 2011 ... also earned first team All-City and all-league honors as a middle blocker ... also picked up first team all-league honors in 2009 and 2010 and was second team in 2008 ... her Chatsworth team won a league championship in 2008 ... also competed as a sprinter, jumper and thrower for the Taft track & field squad in 2011 ... graduated in 2011.

Born February 17, 1993 in Inglewood, Calif. ... parents are Alysia Rogers and Rahmid "Rod" Stinson ... ... has three sisters, Micah, Jaida and Aaliyah ... her father played basketball at CSUN (1996-97) while her mother was an actress who appeared in "Boyzn the Hood" and "Class Act" ... also played club volleyball for SMBC ... was also recruited by UC Davis, Georgetown, Loyola Marymount and Delaware ... favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, Michael Jordan, the TV show "Bring It" and Mexican and Soul food ... says she chose CSUN "because I loved the the coaching staff and the fact that it was close to me" ... saysthe best thing about being an athlete is "playing the game I love". Stinson is majoring in Psychology.
