Junior Brianna Cueva has had a strong start to her outdoor season. One of the Matadors' throwers, Cueva currently ranks 15th in the nation in the discus with a season-best throw of 54.83m (179-11 feet). She accomplished the feat at USC's Trojan Invitational and the mark also ranks ninth in the NCAA Western Region.
