Second Straight Top-Five Finish for CSUN at Santa Clara Colby Invitational

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The CSUN women's golf team posted its second consecutive top-five finish as the Matadors finished fourth Tuesday at the Santa Clara Colby Invitational at Silver Creek Valley C.C.
CSUN, which was third after back-to-back rounds of 311 on Monday, carded a final round 321 on Tuesday to slip to fourth in the eight-team field.
Newcomer Rebecca Bostrom posted her best collegiate finish as the sophomore from Smedjebacken, Sweden finished alone in fourth-place at 14-over 230. Bostrom was tied for fourth after Monday rounds of 73-78 and posted a seven-over 79 to finish the tournament.
Arinda Bhanaraksa posted her second top-10 finish of the season as she tied for seventh at 17-over 233. Bhanaraksa, who was sixth at the Fresno State Classic, finished with rounds of 74-78-81.
Elisabeth Haavardsholm, who was on the verge of her first top-10 finish of the season, wound up tied for 12th at 21-over 237 following rounds of 78-79-80. Also for the Matadors, Cesilie Hagen finished tied for 24th at 27-over 243 after scores of 86-76-81 and Shenna DeLeon tied for 37th at 40-over 256 following rounds of 86-86-84.
UC Riverside won both the team and individual titles as the Highlanders carded a team score of 927 and Brittani Ferraro finished as the low player at five-over 221.
