NORTHRIDGE, CA - After completing the morning round, the CSUN men's golf team was among the 11 teams not able to complete round two before darkness fell Monday at Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms.
The Matadors were third after one round with a team score of six-over 294. Individually, senior Sam Engel was tied for sixth after an opening round even-par 72. Michael Zhang, competing as an individual, also fired a 72 in round one. Tavit Garabedian is one stroke back at 73 followed by Felix Mory (74), Tomas Skajem (75) and Trym Falch (77). Sevian Frangipane, also an individual, carded an opening round 78.
