NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—CSUN returns to women's basketball action this week with a pair of games.
The Matadors (11-12, 5-4 Big West) host Cal Poly Thursday on CSUN's Play for Kay Night. The first 200 fans that come through the turnstile will receive the same t-shirt that the Matadors will be wearing in support of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

Fans wearing pink, will receive a $3 ticket into the Matadome. Fans will also receive Brest Cancer support signs and pink poms as they enter the Matadome. Eric Kaback's pregame show on the CSUN Sports Network presented by Dignity Health begins at 6:50 p.m. with tip set for 7 p.m.

Cal Poly begins the week in a tie for eighth with UC Santa Barbara with a 2-7 Big West mark. The Mustangs are 5-15 overall. Devin Stanback is Cal Poly's leading scorer at 10.9 per game which is 11th in the Big West. Stanback is second in the conference in field goal shooting (50.9).

Dye Stahley is second in the Big West in assists (5.2), third in steals (2.1), and fifth in three-point shooting (39.6), and sixth in free throw shooting (75.0). Cal Poly leads the all-time series against the Matadors 40-39. CSUN won two of three against the Mustangs last season including a 73-50 decision in the Big West Tournament.

Saturday's game at Cal State Fullerton is an ESPN wildcard selection for broadcast on ESPN3. Tim Becwar will serve as the play-by-play announcer with Dave Miller on color. Kaback's audio-only call on the CSUN Sports Network presented by Dignity Health is set for 5:50 p.m. Saturday's game will begin at 6:03 p.m.

The Titans enter the week on a five-game losing streak and are now 11-11, 3-6 in Big West play. Cal State Fullerton is on a bye Thursday night before hosting the Matadors Saturday.

Daeja Smith leads the conference in field goal shooting (54.2). She is second in rebounding (8.6), third in blocked shots (1.6), and seventh in scoring (13.1). Cal State Fullerton leads the all-time series against CSUN 27-26 after the Matadors defeated the Titans 74-44 Jan. 31 in Northridge. CSUN has won 16 in a row in the series dating back to Jan. 14, 2011 when Cal State Fullerton defeated the Matadors 75-67 in Fullerton.

Channon Fluker enters this week with a chance to reach the 2,000-career point plateau this week. Fluker begins the action with 1,964 points, the ninth most in Big West history. She is 18th among active Division I players in the category and will have a chance to become the fourth active Division I player with 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.

With two blocks at UC Santa Barbara Feb. 9, Fluker broke Camile Mahlknecht's school record for career blocks (280). She has 282 blocks this season and leads Division I in the category with 83.
