No. 23 CSUN Ends Regular Season at Cal State East Bay, No. 9 UC Davis

NORTHRIDGE, Calif - The CSUN Women's Water Polo team (13-16, 0-4 BWC) ends its regular season on the road as the Matadors will travel to Cal State East Bay (11-13) on April 12 at 2 p.m. and wrap-up the Big West campaign at UC Davis (16-10, 2-2 BWC) April 13 at 12:00 p.m.

For the Matadors
- Junior Tori Wilson has paced the Matadors in goals with 59 and shooting percentage at .500. Wilson is fourth in the Big West in goals right behind Sarah Snyder of UCSB and Tara Prentice of UCI. She also leads the team in steals (35) and earned ejections (43).
- Wilson also paces the Big West in points for the season, as she has tallied 84 points thus far. Her point total is 10 more points higher than the next closest in the conference, which is Irene Gonzalez of Hawai'i with 74.
- Junior Jennalyn Barthels leads the team in assists and is second in the Big West in that category at 33 helpers on the campaign.
- Goalie Emma Pfister leads the Big West in saves at 211, as she has played a total of 870 minutes so far this season.
- CSUN is over .500 (13-12) in non-conference matches this season heading into its battle with Cal State East Bay.
- The Matadors are looking to snap a four-game losing streak in which all losses came against Top-15 teams.
A Look at Cal State East Bay
- The Pioneers are 11-13 on the season and are 0-2 in WWPA (Western Water Polo Association) play.
- Attacker Adrien Van Dyke is the team leader in points (81) and goals (53). She is also second in assists (28).
- The Pioneers are coming off a two-game losing streak with their last win coming on March 30 versus Sonoma State where Cal State East Bay won 8-7
- Head Coach Lisa Cooper has been at the helm for 17 seasons.
A Look at No. 9 UC Davis
- UC Davis is 16-10 (2-2 BWC) on the campaign, which is good enough for fourth in the Big West
- Before the Aggies most recent loss at No.8 UC Irvine, UC Davis rattled off four wins in a row including back-to-back conference wins against No. 9 UCSB and No. 12 Long Beach State.
- Nine of the Aggies' 16 wins have come against Top 25 teams.
- UC Davis is led by Noelle Wijnbelt and Annie Kutt who have netted a combined 90 of the team's 268 goals on the season.
- The Aggies have outscored their opponents 268 to 240 on the season.
- Kutt, McKenna Hauss, and Marcela Portales will be honored as it is senior day for UC Davis.
- The Matadors are 7-18 against UC Davis all-time with their first matchup dating back to March 29, 2003. The last CSUN win against the Aggies came on May 1, 2016 where CSUN won 10-9.
