NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The CSUN men's soccer team returns to the road Friday night when the Matadors travel to Omaha. The match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. PDT. Live stats are available on GoMatadors.com.

Omaha won its first match of the season, 2-1, over Air Force last Saturday. The Mavs are 1-4-2. Omaha has scored six goals this season with six different players posting one tally. Diego Guiterrez leads the team in scoring with four points (1 G-2A).

Ugo Tritz and Jeremy Pollard have split time in goal for the Mavs. Tritz is 1-2-1 with a 1.74 goals-against average and 14 saves. Pollard is 0-2 with 15 saves and a 1.75 GAA.

Omaha head coach Bob Warming is in his 41st season as a Division I head coach and his 469 career victories are the eighth-most in Division I history and is the third among active head coaches. This the third meeting between the two clubs with Omaha leading the all-time series 1-0-1.

CSUN is 4-3-1 after dropping a pair of matches last week. The Matadors were defeated by Portland 3-1 last Friday. Johnny Rodriguez scored the lone CSUN goal against the Pilots. Loyola Marymount defeated CSUN 2-0 last Sunday in Northridge.

With seven assists, Julio Rubio begins the week of Sept. 23 tied for the Division I leader in the category with UConn's Dayonn Harris. Rubio is third in D-1 in assists per game (0.88).

Daniel Trejo is second in points (18), and shots on goal per game (2.75). He is eighth in points per game (2.25), 14th in total assists (4). Trejo is tied for fifth in total goals (7) with Rodriguez. The duo is tied for 12th in D-1 in goals per game (0.88). The duo is tied for 15th in shots per game (4.13). Rodriguez is fourth in total points (17).
