LONG BEACH, Calif.—The CSUN track and field teams wrapped up a busy week of competition Saturday at the Long Beach State Jumps Fest.

LONG BEACH, Calif.—The CSUN track and field teams wrapped up a busy week of competition Saturday at the Long Beach State Jumps Fest.
MEN
- Ahmed Mohamed finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 47-6 1/2.
- Isaiah Rucker was entered in the high jump but did not record a height and did not record a placing.
- Senior Sonsoles Barba reset her career-best in the long jump for the third week in a row. She went 19-2 1/2 to finish second.
- Sameerah Evans finished second in the triple jump (40-0 1/2) and seventh in the long jump (17-0).
- Aaryn Smith was 11th (15-4 1/4) in the long jump.

- "Our jumpers competed well today. We need to do some fine-tuning as we get ready for the Big West Championship in two weeks."
UP NEXT
- CSUN will enter Brianna Kelpis in the Big West Heptathlon May 7-8 in Irvine. The Big West Outdoor Track Championship is set for May 13-15 in Irvine with UC Irvine serving as the host for both legs of the meet.
